EJMP - Expanded Jet-Mix Pile Auger

EJMP Swivel

EJMP - Expanded Jet-Mix Auger System is designed for making jet mix column below the ground level.

The expadable auger in its retracted mode maintains a small diameter of Ø500mm minimise the disturbance to the ground condition. At the intended depth underground, the auger is expanded by water pressure actuation, increasing the auger diameter from Ø500mm to Ø1500mm.

Patented telescopic extendable drilling rod designed with special joint with heavy duty seal packing to withstand pressure for foundation and ground engineering work like:

Thus eliminating the risk of falling into the bored hole or injuries cause by falling object from the drilling rig.

Soil consolidation by grouting requires special drilling rods coupled with nozzles and high pressure (200~400 bars) pumps. Consistency in mix and achieving designed diameter is always a challenge to the contractors. Our Soil Mixing Expandable Augers are designed to achieve the above criteria at a much lower cost and higher efficiency. Using expandable arms with nozzles allow cutting and mixing of soil with lower operating pressure of only 30~40 bars. Consistency in mix and diameters are enhanced due to the arms which mixes as well as cut. Surrounding soil are also less disturbed due to smaller diameter hole made in the penetration phase. In the mixing phase, the column can be formed as a continuous column or partial column can be achieved during from the designed depth upwards. As the blades of the expandable arms are made of special material for cutting, it is suitable for construction of contiguous columns.

The requirement for opening the blades are min. Pump pressure of 30 bar and flow rate of 100 litre. The blades will retract by itself under tension of spring when no pressure is applied.
