-Thus running cost for PAS in area of fuel consumption, air
compressor rental cost is 4 ¡V 5 times less than DTH.

requirement of high torque drilling rigs is no longer crucial as the

REDUCED DRILLING CYCLE TIME

to the kelly bar / auger system since removing cuttings is only done

PRC
Hydraulic Top Drive Unit is developed for PAS-RC to work without any
hydraulic rig. The Top Drive unit is powered by a hydraulic power pack.
The hydraulic casing clamp clamps on the casing which has been driven
into the ground or sea bed. The Top Drive Unit can be secured onto the
clamp to rotate the PAS-RC.
This configuration is very useful when
rotary rigs are not available or in the situation of Marine Piling.

PAS - Lubricating Oil Tank
¡@
The
Percussion Auger
operation requires oil lubrication. The Lubricating Oil Tank stores oil
of specifications ISO46~220. The tank is to be connected to the outlet
of the air compressor leading to the air hose that connects the
Percussion Auger. The regulating valve is adjustable to regulate the
required amount of lubricating oil for the PAS operation. Constant
supply of lubricating oil to the percussion auger is critical to
prevent premature wear and damage to the internal mechanism.
